Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel's great central location near the Riverwalk and various dining spots is wonderful for exploring the city. Despite the need for room renovations and the persistent musty smell in the damp rooms, my overall experience was enjoyable.
The hotel provides comfortable rooms with great amenities for a short stay, including a comfortable bed, huge HD TV, coffee maker, mini fridge, balcony, and pool with a bar and restaurant onsite. However, the reservation did not match the room's accessibility needs, which was a drawback. The service had mixed experiences, with early morning disturbances and additional fees for amenities. The location offered convenience and proximity to various places, but lacked evening entertainment options. The dining experience was satisfactory but lacked variety. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
My stay was a bit of a mixed bag - the rooms were clean and had a nice balcony, but the noise level was higher than expected. The service was generally friendly and attentive, although there was a slight hiccup with the water service. The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, being close to both the river and downtown, but it seemed to be operated with minimal staff at times. The dining experience left something to be desired with cold food and unappealing options. Overall, it was a decent stay with its ups and downs.
The hotel had a great location right on the riverwalk, but the rooms felt a bit dirty and musty. The service was friendly but came with unexpected additional fees. The dining experience was a bit pricy but enjoyable. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
Upon arrival, I faced a room mix-up late at night, but eventually settled in a decent room. The hotel is noisy throughout the night, although it does offer access to the Club lounge, wifi, a large pool, and a free shuttle service to various places. The room had a slight smell but was acceptable, with room for improvement.
The hotel had some drawbacks like noisy rooms with worn amenities, water stains, and steaks on the walls, but the service was helpful and friendly. The location was good, despite early morning disturbances. The dining options were great but pricey.
I stayed at this hotel for a night, but had a booking for two nights. The location was wonderful for access to the city and University of Tampa, with convenient access to Riverwalk, water taxi, and trolley stops within easy walking distance. Although there was no parking lot, only valet parking at $24 per day plus taxes, the staff was more than helpful and always awesome.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious with a great river view, but they felt a bit dirty, especially the baseboards and the dated decor. The service was friendly but also overwhelmed at times, making for a slightly inconsistent experience. The location right on the Riverwalk was fantastic, offering incredible views and a prime spot for exploration. The dining experience left much to be desired, with disappointing options and high prices.
